Bassano Dam Tour – Eastern Irrigation District (Alberta)

FreeThe Eastern Irrigation District (EID) is providing two guided Bassano Dam Tours.

The tour provides an opportunity to observe and learn the importance this 110-year old structure plays in the agricultural industry and the District. You will get the chance to walk under the Bow River, check out the new Emergency Spillway, and walk across the main spillway structure to have a closer look at the gates, hoists, and friction wall.
The tour cannot accommodate strollers, wheelchairs, or anyone with limited mobility due to the nature of the facility.
