The Infrastructure Services Water / Wastewater department is responsible for delivering and maintaining the City’s water, sewer and storm sewer systems, including: Providing safe drinking water, Ensuring there is enough water when you turn on a tap or fire hydrant, Managing the North Red Deer Water Services Commission (NRDRWSC), Ensuring that the sewers flow to the lagoon for treatment through upgrades and regular maintenance, Operating three water pump houses, three sewer lift stations and one lagoon system, Maintaining and repairing breaks in the water, sewer and storm sewer main lines, Installing new water and wastewater services
