Conservation coup for wetlands

In what’s being called a watershed bid to stem the decimation of Alberta’s wetlands, a conservation group has purchased a 900-hectare plot of prairie in the province’s southeast. Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) is hailing the protection of the Bullshead Conservation Area in the Cypress Hills region as its flagship property in Alberta.
